Isandlawana, Blood River , Rorkes Drift and Spioenkop are just a few of the historical battle sites where the Zulu nation armed with spears and rawhide shields met the British armed with Martini Henry rifles and a superior knowledge of battle as well as the Boers with their “laager” of wagons and muzzle loaders. This was war in one of its most primitive forms. They say that the water of Blood River ran completely red with the blood of the Zulu nation.
See and experience the fear, hear the screams of the dying that still echo in the hills and valleys, smell the gun smoke as you take yourself back in time to witness these events in your mind.
